Love this idea of having a place in the mid-peninsula. I'm looking forward to a place where I can stay connected with others while I keep my web and programming skills honed (I mostly do marketing these days, so it is hard to keep up with the tactical skills since the rate of change of technology is so fast).

I can contribute stress reduction events for anyone who appreciates that -- particularly yoga and mindfulness meditation.

Finally, a dog-friendly space would be ideal since it is so difficult to find places where she is welcome. She participates in stress reduction and meditation, by the way, not so much the programming :-)

I'm on the other coast (Long Island, NY), but I love the sound of a dev meetup place like this. I'm always looking to learn and find like minded folks who like trying out groovy concepts to see if they float.

Hi Kristi,

I have founded GirlsLuvTech to encourage middle school girls to get involved in Science, Technology, Engineering and Science. Although the organization is geared towards girls our workshops and events will be open to boys as well. Your son could be a good resource for helping us determine how to structure workshops.

That said, contact the potential "teacher" for the class (on the classes page) and ask for a start date. We got our javascript class going via our setting a specific date and just showing up.

Searching for a 1. driven Iphone Developer for our Startup and 2. Programmer with polished Javascript JQuery PHP MySQL .

We have finished coding server side and are now open to adopting another passionate team member. Moonlighting could be an option for a talented teammate.

This enterprise sounds amazing. Yet another reason to move to the Bay area. I wish we could recreate this in San Diego, but I'm not certain if the spirit of fellowship is here.

Hi everyone,

I am new to the group and was wondering if there is a job board at Hacker Dojo. I recruit for 200+ startups and would love to reach out to any engineers that are looking for a job. Right now I am specifically in urgent need of a Flash Architect, Rails Engineer, iPhone Developer, UI Developer, Senior Java Engineer, and a Javascript NINJA. If anyone can advise how I can go about reaching out to members that are potentially interested or have referrals, please let me know! ($1,000 referral bonus).

Thanks!

Email me at: sara@plugandplaytechcenter.com
